Orange Room Studios
Unofficially started in 2002 in a room with orange painted and sea-sponged walls, Orange Room began as a place for creation of music, but has since become more of a conceptual studio space focused on developing interdisciplinary learning projects. The most recent activities can be found on my YouTube channel and at Foreign Language Music.

My name is Tommy McDonald. I studied Comparative Literature at the University of South Carolina (Honors College, B.A. 2007) and have been an exchange student and guest lecturer of international business at Sophia University (上智大学 Summer Session of Asian Studies). From 2008-2012, I was based in Tokyo, Japan, where I handled Latin American business development and sales and, later, the online marketing strategy for a Japanese firm in the chemical raw materials industry. Currently I am a candidate for an International MBA from the University of South Carolina where I hope to focus on business strategy and entrepreneurship in emerging economies. (LinkedIn profile)
I’m interested in interdisciplinary creativity and lifelong learning, specifically as these continuous and often autodidactic endeavors relate to my personal development in the contexts of humanism (skepticism and inquiry of all sciences and humanities, principally through polyglottery), writing (literature and music), and fitness (exercise and diet).
